Easy Marshmallow Frosting


A recipe for this sweet and delicious Marshmallow Frosting which you can use on all kinds of cakes & cupcakes! 


4 sticks (1 pound) unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
1 16 oz. tub of marshmallow cream (such as Marshmallow Fluff)


  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
  2. Beat in one-fourth of the sugar until fluffy, then repeat with the remaining sugar.
  3. Beat in the vanilla, then stir in the marshmallow cream until well blended.

(Use this frosting to frost cupcakes or cakes for a creamy treat!)

Looks great!:) I will try it tomorrow ? I have one question : I’m from germany and here we don’t use oz. Are 16 oz. 2 jars of marshmallow-cream (marshmallow fluff) ? Or do you know how many grams that are?

    16oz is equivalent to 453.592grams…if my maths is right.
